Very nice and I would say high end restaurant. The place is clean, modern and very well arranged. Great designer. It feels very open but there is a glass wall so it's indoor. However, I felt the place was kept a bit too cold inside. Our main waitress (Jennifer L) was very attentive and proactive. She did a good job. The food was GREAT. Every dish came out was good. I had medium steak and sushi and it was excellent. See photos. You have to book in advance a day before because there were 14 of us. Some are vegetarian and no one complained. They have a decent wine selection but only one IPA option. It's pretty expensive with price ranging from $20 - $120. I would say medium is around $40. Looks like I will be back again. Definitely one of the top ones I have had in the Bay.

Joeys Valley Fair is a happening place to be on a Saturday night. For adults (18+) only, head upstairs to the bar and al fresco dining (don’t worry there are plenty of heaters on cooler nights). Otherwise, downstairs for families and a darker mood is where to be. It’s as good as it can get for four stars. It’s not a “knock your socks off” fining dining, five-star experience, but it’s damn good. Highly recommend the bang bang chicken and pork gyoza for appetizers. For entrees, they’re great with the surf and turf. We got the steak with lobster, a 7oz sirloin with a sizable lobster tail. Cool quirk of the dish are the mashed potato egg rolls. Think egg roll, but inside is mashed potatoes with cheese, sour cream and bacon on top. The sushi is also great and a good portion (the tuna avocado crunch is where it’s at with tons of spicy mayo). Definitely leave room for dessert. The butter cake is massive and great for sharing (it’s a big portion and quite dense). Overall, great date night — shout out to Mia (our server) and Marina (one of the managers) who made our night special! Looking forward to coming back!

Ambiance: love the vibe here! The lights, paintings on the wall, talkative and attentive staffs, interiors designs are all shouting chill vibe. Might not be suitable for couples who wish to talk and enjoy quiet private date, but definitely recommend to gatherings either friends or family! Food: It was a company holiday dinner, so we tried a couple of appetizers. They are all very tasty, especially the Korean cauliflower and gyoza, but a bit too salty. I ordered the steak & lobster pasta. The sauce is a bit spicy and that brings the dish to another level! The steak was medium but a bit too dry and chewy. Desserts are just on the okay side. The cocktails are fantastic and definitely recommend trying some of them. Service: our table staff Sean (or Shawn?) was fantastic. Provide water, take orders at the perfect timing, and also very attentive to make sure we’re happy with our orders even ti he’s about to clock off.

Went to Joey for a birthday dinner with friends. We had to make reservations way in advance. This place was packed on a Saturday night. We started with drinks and the bang bang chicken, cauliflower and the mushrooms appetizer. The cauliflower and mushrooms were incredible. Highly recommend. The bang bang chicken had bones in it and it turned me off so I didn’t try it again. For entrees we got the salmon, poke bowl, steak and sushi, Baja fish tacos etc. the steak and sushi phenomenal. We ended with the flourless chocolate cake and the crème brûlée. Both delicious and perfect size. Our waitress was terrific even the few mistakes she made she more than made up for it. She was great! The restaurant was a little dark but had great decor from what I could see. They had an upstairs and downstairs. It was a bit loud but that’s expected on a Saturday night. I highly recommend Joey but get a reservation.

This is a belated review, I visited Joey last summer. Overall, their menu is very fusion and diverse, paired with a stylish ambiance. A good choice if you are into elevated fusion dining experience. When we arrived, we were welcomed with complimentary drinks. We could choose between a sparkling non-alcoholic drink or champagne, which was such a nice touch. We ordered the following dishes - Scallop & Shrimp Ceviche - This was my personal favorite. Very refreshing with bright, clean flavors. Seared Salmon Sushi- I loved the crispy rice element. It added great texture and made the dish stand out. Ravioli Bianco - Very creamy and on the richer side. Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wrap - We were still hungry so wanted another dish. Our waiter recommended this dish to us as it was a popular dish amongst the customers. It was good but nothing amazing. I wouldn’t order this one again.

Very charming place for lunch or dinner. Excellent food quality especially steak and wide selection of appetizers. I came here many times already mainly business lunch. However, I also think that this place is good for dating as well. Service is good with welcome sparking wine. Last Friday, I was there again, and came across an excellent waitress Jennifer. Without saying too much, she show up just in time at our desk and bring what we need. One of my best dinnering experience in the last few months because of her service. Will come again soon for the food and service

We celebrated our Anniversary at Joey Valley Fair and it was great. We have come to rely on this place to provide us quality food and great service, but every time they seem to get even better. We were greeted by the normal team of greeters and other employees who seem to really enjoy their jobs. Getting our complimentary drinks and then making our way to our table, they know how to make you feel like you are appreciated. At our table there was a hand written card for our special night and then we met our two absolutely fantastic servers, Mia and Sarah, who went out of their way to make our night extra special. Not only did they make us feel welcomed (as the Joey Team always does), they genuinely wished us a happy anniversary many times. In a way, I felt like they were celebrating with us and just when we thought it could not get any better, they brought us a beautifully prepared celebration desert with another Happy anniversary wish decorated on the plate. We absolutely love this place!

My friends and I decided to finally give Joey Valley Fair a try, it’s been open for a couple of months and it’s always super busy. The few occasions that we tried walking up, it would be a couple of hours of wait so we always end up giving up. This time we made a reservation to celebrate our purchase of a new home. When we first got there, we were provided some nonalcoholic sparkling iced tea while we wait for our table to be ready. The place was very vibey, great place for hanging out with friends or a girls night out. We waited for around 15mins and were provided a booth seat right by the open kitchen which was nice and cozy. Everything on the menu looked amazing but we settled for the famous spicy crab dip, truffle udon carbonara, ravioli blanca with steak and seared salmon sushi combo with steak. The food came relatively quick, the plating was pretty and the food portions was decent. The flavours though were amazing! I would say it was more like a fun sharing place where everyone orders something different and share everything. Overall, the food and the service was great, highly recommended!
